# WRAITH Nexus

> One OpenAI-compatible API for 250+ AI models (text, vision, embeddings, images, text to speech, speech to text) from Venice and NEAR AI, paid in USDC on Monad (chain 143). Humans use API keys registered on chain; agents can pay per call with x402 or prepay and sign in with their wallet. Every call is a signed record anchored on Monad. ## Authentication
- API key: `Authorization: Bearer crk_<wallet>_<secret>` (or `x-api-key`). Keys are created at https://ai.dagentx.com/account; only a sha256 is stored on chain.
- x402 per call: call without credentials, receive 402 with `PAYMENT-REQUIRED` (x402 v2), retry with `PAYMENT-SIGNATURE`. Amount = worst-case cost of that request; unused value stays as the payer's credit.
- Prepay: `POST /v1/x402/top-up?usd=N` ($1 to $1,000), then send `SIGN-IN-WITH-X` = base64(JSON {address, message, signature, chainId: 143}); message is EIP-4361 with domain ai.dagentx.com, uri = exact URL called, issued within 5 minutes, single-use nonce.

401 bad or revoked key or sign-in · 402 payment required · 429 balance too low, daily cap reached or rate limit · 503 retry shortly
